I could have waited myself, but im not gonna drag and this is my first mustang and RWD only car so i dont think i would really miss the extra power. After a few weeks i was right, by the time i feel i need more power i will probably be ready for a new car. just my thoughts

Regardless of the fact that many people like their 2010 GT's, I think quite a few of them will regret not waiting for an 2011.

i doubt it. not everyone wants the extra power of the 5.0, which realistically is the big reason for waiting. this is a pretty big volume car and most of the public doesnt even know the coyote exists, and its irrelevant to their lives. I imagine only a very small percentage of people will regret their 2010 decision

I think the people who are informed about the '11 and still buy the '10 will not because they made the decision knowing what was coming. It is those who do not frequent these boards and have no clue what is going on. My cousin is a tech at a Ford dealership. I told him about the 5.0 and he was surprised. He said you know more than me and i work for Ford. Saying that if you get everything that has been talked about for the same price how can you not be disappointed even though you do not want to admit it. This can be the modern Mustang GT that we have all wanted since after 1973. The Best one since then.

The only only thing I can guess is Ford will give the 3.7L DI or they will use a trick intake to push some TQ up the powerband. If Ford is doing it with a intake, I'm wondering how much low end TQ they are giving up to make 265 TQ at 6300 rpm or so?
No DI either. Being rwd there's more room to play with - for intake and exhaust - than fwd application, thus more power.
