Bought this bad boy a few weeks ago. My old car was a 2009 WRX. This mustang is a blast and it's everything I WANTED my WRX to be.

Brembo brake package. It's a Premium as well.

Congrats on the new car. My little brother has a WRX that's pretty modded and he still can't keep up.

Congrats! Glad another "ricer" saw the light! You won't regret having a V8 as your starting platform. A great V8 to boot!

Why did you feel the need to quote the original post as if you were worried we didn't know who you were referring to? haha Nice brembo 5.0 I think the new mustangs look best in black.

Problem with a wrx is they have no ***** once you get moving. I drove one before and from a stop they are fast but if your already moving well... Having less than 180 rwhp just sucks. Good to see you switched to mustangs!

Size: 585.1 KB My old subie. It was "Stage 2" (full turbo back and tune) around 300 whp/340 wtq. It was definitely not a slouch. I would say the Mustang is a little bit faster.

I will definitely miss somethings about the WRX but the Mustang is a better overall package.

As far as mods, I put some GT500 axlebacks the second week I got it.

Other than that, I'm going to keep it stock until the warranty runs out.

Heard subies have tissue paper for transmissions you didn't have any issues with yours?

In the 08+ WRX they beefed up the transmissions. They are probably good until 400 wtq. The pre 08 transmissions are the ones with the paper trannies and you have to be careful with them.

I was thinking of buying a wrx for he winter so my 5.0 wouldn't have to see it. So let me get this right the transmissions in all the wrx before 09 and up had tissue paper transmissions?

Ha i came from a wrx too. Only other car i was excited to get. Mine was 03. I havent heard any issues with tranny and it has long been pretty common to mod up to 280hp 285lbs/ft of torque. I never had issues with mine like that and had it for 9 yrs 9 months. It did start to get a little notchy and rubbery in the last two years though. And only 110,000 mi on it.
