Hi,

I apologize for being an utterly shameless lurker since 2004...

I picked up my '11 GT on Monday. The Kona blue is stunning in bright sunlight, photos just don't do it justice. I have to say this is by far the best Mustang I have ever owned ('66,'94,'01,'05). I absolutely loved my '05 GT but the '11 is in every way a major improvement. The car feels taunt, the throttle and A6 very responsive (yes after 25 years of manuals I have succumbed to an auto...) The power is amazing, it just keeps coming on. The steering is spot on. The ride is smooth, not jarring even with the 19's. Road noise significantly reduced over the '05. All the rattles, creaks and drive train whines gone. And if the dynamics of the car weren't enough, I am just amazed by the interior. The integrated electronics package is so sweet. Have phone connected and Sandisk MP3 player hooked up.

I had the windows tinted which really brought the look of the car together with the Kona. I also had the rear blackout panel installed. It mates up with the decklid and fills in the gap between the taillights which makes the backside appear leaner.

The attached pic is right after the tint was done (before final detail for pick up). Thank you to everyone on the site for the info and stories which enticed me to order a 2011. I one happy Mustang driver! (Suddenly, the drive to/from work ain't so bad anymore...)

Beautiful.

What tint did you go with. I am planning on tinting my self and am torn between 20 and 30.

Good luck with your ride.

Looks awesome! Would love to see more pics! (I'm thinking almost the same setup for myself aesthetically).

Very nice. My dealer has a 2011 5.0 Vert with those wheels and I think Ford may have changed the color a little in between 2010 and 2011. On the 2010s I've seen with them, they look very silver, while the 2011 looked a little darker to me, almost Vapor Silver with a bit of gray flake in them. Either way, they look really good!

nice car............

Have the nickel wheels on my Sterling, think they look very good on the darker colors.

Let us know what you think after a few miles, guarantee you will be smiling.
