New Interior Spy Shot

Kinda looks like the airbags-all of them-are deployed.
Just kidding!

I like the angle to the spokes. I just hope they offer radio controls on the spokes. Thats something i would really like to see on the new interior. also, the dash should be redone.

I hope they keep the '65-'68 style "dual hump" (raised area over the glove compartment and instrument cluster) dashboard.

I like that horn plate as well. The original Wheel buttons for the S197 was designed to have radio controls but Ford decided to drop it for some reason.

I don't like the idea of getting rid of the round vents either.

What is the line in the side windows?

I'd prefer to keep the round vents, makes the Mustang very unique. I agree that Ford needs to keep the "dual hump" dash design.

I agree on the round vent treatment, mainly because both my foxbody and new edge had such horribly designed registers for the HVAC. Had to replace every single one in my 91 and the center registers in my 02 would pop out of the dash on a very hot day when max ac was turned on.

either this was taken from a convertible (most likely)

or

we have seen the new qtr window that looks like a 69-70 style window (unlikely, but possible)

Yes. I noticed the Cobra emblem in the grille. It appears this is the prototype 2010 GT500

or as I said in the other thread... the grille could be the same size as the 05-09 grille GT500
and they are just using it as a placeholder ....

The dual hump dash top is still there, you can see where it bends down towards the center above the gauges. I'm a little worried about the gauges though, not sure I see the same setup there as we have. Almost looks like a smooth plastic cover all the way across, instead of the twin pods we have.

And I'm not thrilled with the round vents going away, either.
