You guys forgot about the a-pillar trim. EvoTech posted this a couple of days ago. I also have additional independent confirmation as to why it is the a-pillar trim. This would effect ALL cars but not necessarily all cars produced. Perhaps certain interior colors after a certain build date. And perhaps retail orders but not stock orders. They may have prioritized orders based on the number of available pieces.

 

I'm not trying to start another conspiracy thread. I just want to see if there was something about the Cali Specials that made them less likely to be delivered. Trying to determine if it's worth reordering or if I'll be likely to find the same setup at another dealer in stock form.

My GT/CS VERT is a retail order that i snagged coming inbound and locked it up with some benjamins----

what i dont get is my dealer also had a GT500 coupe retail with a eta hat arrived only 5 days after it was expected

You are aware that retail means it was ordered by a specific buyer. Stock means it is intended for the dealership to sell on their own. Which means it must have been stock because they put it on eBay.

all i know is the car i have inbound was ordered by the dealership for inventory----

it wasnt a pre-order job-----still not here

Well I read somewhere something that made more sense than anything i've read so far. The post was by this guy who had talked to his dealer and he had said that there was a shortage of Pirelli Tires.

Now this I will bite on. If there is a slow trickle of Pirelli's that would explain the slow trickle of cars being released across the board. GT's, V6's, ALL CS's wear Pirelli's. Can this be confirmed or denied?
