New headers and pulley with Lund tune...

I know some of y'all wanted me to post the results of the header/pulley swap I had done. Picked up the car this morning and got the dyno sheet. I'll get a picture of it and post it shortly, but the gains were significant in torque:

Before: 545ft./lbs@~4240rpm, 596whp@~6600rpm

After: 629ft/lbs@~3600rpm, 619whp@~6800rpm

The torque gains are phenomenal and there is a huge, huge seat-of-the-pants difference in low to mid RPM's. The pulley swap added about two more pounds of boost max. The dyno recorded a high of 15.2lbs, up from the stock 13.9lbs. I also have a Lund racing tune.

Next on the list: rear suspension components to stiffen and tighten the back. Once that's been done, a throttle body and JLT intake.

By the way, the work was done by MaximumVelocityPerformance.com here in San Antonio. Can't say enough good things about those guys. Tracy and Tim were awesome. They'll be getting my business again. Wouldn't take my Shelby to anyone else.

Very nice! Awesome increase in torque. Most people forget about torque, and are just concerned with horsepower numbers.
Whose headers are you using?

They're American Racing 2 7/8". I'm told they're a much better fit to the mustang than Borla or kooks.

Hell, I'm just driving the thing! It is going to be HARD not to put more miles on it. The guys down at the shop did a hell of a job. Couldn't be happier with the work.

Thanks! My wife said, when she first rode in it, "Wow, now it feels like a plane just starting its takeoff run." heheh.
