New GT Question

The sticker on my car says "limited slip rear axle". Which gears does it come with? 3.31?

The ratio should be stamped on one of the tags on the rear end as well. I'd guess 331 355 or 373.

A v-6 comes standard with 2.73 axle ratio and 3.35 for an extra $300.
A GT comes standard with 3.15 if its an auto
If the GT is a stick it comes with 3.31 with the option to get either 3.55 or 3.73 on a GT from the factory

Why did you create multiple threads for the same question?

3.31 is the gear you get in the V6 if you order it with the performance package...wish they would have offered the 3.55 or 3.73 as an option....

You can also get the 3.31 by itself without getting the perf. pack on a V6.

Very true but I think its a waste of money for the 3:31 gears. Save the 300 and put 200 dollars more out and just install 3:73 gears and be done with it.

True. That's $ 379 for the performance tuner. I wanted the performance tuner regardless. What a huge difference it makes for my automatic. The cars shift points are amazing. Amazing throttle response and really unlocks those hidden HP and torque numbers Ford had locked away.
