Red face New changes...

I enjoy this site alot.....I mean if reading about others ideas and information is great. As in the following......I have a daily drive base 2014 v6 stick. I love it...although been in for hail damage already.....but....

After reading thru here and asking about it I have put on Borlas S-types.....oh wow.....the CHANGE in the car.....sound...so sweet...I really like the rumbling and crackling when shifting down so reminds me of my 1st car, 1963 Galaxie 500 fastback with Steel packs on it. Also my sweetheart lost 40 lbs of weight off her rear end from those factory boat anchors...

Then I read more about CAI or really should be HAI (hot air intake) as I cant figure out how COLD air, well it does till the engine compartment warms up....So I decided to try out the KLM HP filter replacement instead....and again, CHANGE was good. Throttle response is even more.....I find myself now instead of being in 3rd gear for 30 mpg I tend to stay in 2nd alittle longer. 3rd gear more up to 40 mph than before when I would be in 4th... I think part is I love the sound too...grins

Thank you again to all that I read and inputs that come.

What filter did you get. Can you post a link? Glad you're happy with it! Now get some new wheels and lower that baby!

I have the same filter too. Haven't noticed any difference (not expecting any), but at least I don't have to replace it as often as a paper filter.

The car throttle feels different...but I mean it feels different....but there is a difference in the sound thru the Borlas than using a paper filter....She seems to breathe easier....
