Just wondering if we should ponder a theme for the build before going too far into all the individual component sections above??? :scratch:

Maybe I just missed it. I know we're looking "pro touring", but even that can take many forms or themes. The concept I outlined components for was a modern "Speedster". At the same time, A modernized "Boss 514" convertible "what if" concept is entirely possible, using completely different drivetrain, wheels, and body changes... Alum head 514, 6-speed, nearly stock body lines, billet magnums, and only a little-bitty Boss 514 sticker on the fender, etc....

Just thinking out loud here - maybe the "Friday" project is developing a theme???

 

That's where I'm going so far... I did not want to limit the imaginations too much to start. For example I was pretty set on a 4.6 swap from the start, but then the suggestion of a Big Block sort of changed it.

Alot has to do with the body styling as well ... like you can't pick the wheels before you know if a Mach/Boss/or Shelby style will begin to take hold.

Maybe Monday "the name" appears with more direction. A lot of ground has already been covered today. By Monday morning we should have some concrete.

 

Maybe next time if we could get a subforum for the build that would be good too... all the threads are clouding up the forum (sorry about that guys) but they need to be broken out or the Foose would go nuts chasing all the info down.
