Any car with Bluetooth should be able to pair with Sync so you don't have to worry about that being an issue at least. I'm trying to think back to pairing my Android phone and it's been so long I just can't remember all that was involved. Best I can tell you is go to syncmyride.com and look for help, and use your instruction manual. Sorry I can't help more.

Hey bud, on top of being the sales guy, I'm also the SYNC Specialist at the store. Its an Android? What type fo phone? On some Android phones, when you enter the PIN number, you have to long press on SYNC for a menu to appear on your phone. It will show "connect". Hit that and it should be okay. Its tough for me to gauge it not being in the car and diagnosing it.

Thanks Guys, and Jeff, turns out I had to do a Factory Default Reset, THEN it worked, for about 4 key cycles, then it said 'No Phone' Again..Arrrgg...Gues it's Service time!!

You have to DELETE your old phone in sync for the new phone to work. Than once old phone is deleted simple add new bluetooth device and enter the code into your phone than it should sync and work. Did this today, couldnt do anything till old phone got deleted.

Shouldn't have to delete first. We have three different phones paired with ours. Only one can be the "primary" phone. It has priority over the others. When you add a new phone it will ask if you want it to be primary or not. That when I drive my phone is paired but when my wife drives hers is. Hers is the primary so if we both get in with bluetooth active it chooses hers.

Hey Giant, you don't have to delete them. SYNC can hold 12 phones and 2000 contacts in total. There have been a few updates to SYNC. I think his car may need an update. Its a routine thing to do and nothing too difficult. Just a little time is needed. That's all.

What type of phone do you have and who is the carrier?
