Irrelevant. Are you saying GM could sell and make a profit on the Z06 if they sold a bunch for $28k?

No, he's saying that if GM sold well over 500,000 7.0L V8 Z06 engines each year, then they could afford to put it in a $28k car. The Z06 engine itself has a sticker price around $15k-$17k because it is hand built by some union guy name Joe or Bob.

BTW - that is an awesome GT500 you have, I love the Kona Blue and white stripes!
