New 2014 V6 auto owner

Coming from the world of german engineering to american muscle. I have been missing out on life. This machine is a beast! I didn't have enough to go for the GT model but the V6 is just as satisfying for me. What i wanted to know was how can i remove the intake baffle off of this car to make more of a growl. I wouldn't even know where to look honestly. Once again this car is ridiculous!

Max-Stang,

Welcome! Good question and there's a few things that you can do to get a little more noise as well as performance from under the hood! AmericanMuscle carries two types of Cold Air Intakes:

1. No Tune Required: This means that you would not need to have a tune to run the cold air intake as there's something called a Venturi Sleeve installed which is going to trick your engine computer and prevent a check engine light from occurring

2. Tune Required: This is going to need a tune and a BAMA X4/SF4 Tuner would be perfect. This will need a tune in order to have the airflow optimized and to ensure that you don't have a check engine light pop up.

The majority of the Cold Air Intakes we carry will not need a tune but it's a great idea to pick up a tuner with one as you're going to see and feel much better results with them combined. We have a variety available and I would recommend the Airaid CAI and Bama X4/SF4 Tuner

One of the greatest features after purchasing the tuner is going to be the Free Tunes For Life Program. This means if you're to purchase a Throttle Body down the road you can shoot Bama a call and they'll have you set up with a Tune Revision Free of Charge.

Let me know if you have any questions about this at all and I'm here to help!

-Alex

Congratulations and welcome to the forum!

Plenty of helpful vendors here that can help you find a quality intake
