Yeah. Me too. That way the 05-08 would be a LOT more valuable.

:notnice:

Larry Shinoda used to refer to the 1971 Mustang as "The Aircraft Carrier".

Because when you drove one you feel like you have lots of seamen?

That front end isn't as sexy as what we are working with right now. It makes the car look bloated.

The back 3/4 of that one look great but the front end and the hood have got to go, IMHO.
I'd keep my '05 and wait for the next change.

Ford is going back to the early 70's look. its big and thats not mustangs, they are small, please Ford do not extened the hood, but the hips look very nice, keep that 60's look and feel. i may be only 17 but i know what makes a car look good.everything except the extend hood looks good.

Well said my young friend!!! 1970 was the last good looking Mustang until the mid 80's.....Please keep the changes simple. A little hips would be fine....Please don't mess with it too much :nono: My $0.02 Joe

Well, if it will have 'hips', what other human anatomical features will it have?

Just imagine. Of course, we then have to decide if it's a male or female (or in-between?)

forget about the flares...what about the the base powerplant? will ford upgrade to the all aluminum 3.5 instead of the 4.0 cast iron block? if they don't, they missed a golden opportunity to keep the car on the front burner. also, take the opportunity and move the battery to the underside of the rear seat...both those changes will do wonders for the handling and the balance of the car...probably as much as going to irs. the car is just a little too front-end heavy...better balance is the order of the day...in fact, imo, it's more important than the outward appearance of the car...it's what's underneath that counts in a car, not the skin. jackg 90seville 99k

Like i said earlier...i would be happy with an identical car as the 2005 if they could shave off 200-300lbs. better weight distribution would also be very welcomed.
