New 011 V6 pics from LA

I disagree, that's a move in the wrong direction. I know there are a lot of people who love flat black but I'm not one of them. I wish Ford would offer a "body color trim" package that would have the lower rear bumper, rocker panel moldings, and grill surround (on the GT) painted body color. I'd pay $300 for such an option. Oh yeah, the air dam in the GT could also use a little more paint and a little less flat black. Other than that objection, though, I think the 2010 redesign is a resounding success.

Nope, not unless Ford is going to sell GT500s or Cobras (as the case may be) in the 30k range. The V8 Mustang, be it a GT or GT500 has alot of appeal mainly due to its V8 mystique.

If that is the base V6 version of the Mustang, I have to say its the best one I have seen.

the ammount of GTs and GT500s sold will be offset by the other cars they sell that achieve better mileage.
The V8 will be around for a WHILE
And who says the Coyote is the end all?

It certainly isn't the prettiest looking engine is it? Couldn't they have done something about all that black plastic on top??? Even a tri-bar logo or something to at least distract from it would have been nice.
Still not feeling that grill. The top and bottom need to match or don't bother. The flat black panel looks nice out back though...

The billet-type upper grille (optional?) and larger rear head restraints are the only two visual cues I've noticed to identify an '11. Probably some new wheel choices as well.

Yeah, I like the rear end now since it has dual exhaust, but I was refering to just the front end. I know about the dual exhaust, the rear headrests, the side stripe, the 19" wheels (with the handling package), the fog lights and the billet upper grille. I just thought I read something about changes to the front end. Maybe I'm smoking crack.

I thought the 2011 had a different lip spoiler...but looking at them, I dont think they are different.
but yeah, the new front grille is an obvious difference.

Yes. There were several tuner cars at the SEMA show that had painted rocker panels and grill surround. Usually with the lower rear bumper they didn't paint it all body color, they left the area between the exhaust pipes black. Before seeing those photos I suspected that the Mustang would look better with this stuff painted. Seeing the photos from SEMA definitely confirmed it.

Does this model (in the pics) have an electric rear antenna in the down position, or did they actually do something to clean that up?
