Looks really good in this shot, although they should have left off the roof stripes......either get them all the same color, or don't bother

Absolutely. It's called speed. Unadulterated, unabridged, raw, pure speed. Turns are a close second. There are plenty other things, but those are two pretty **** big ones.

Ah yes, but clean paint means less drag...........equals more (need for) speed

I have no problem with a clean car. I try to keep mine clean as possible. When you can prove to me that swirl marks in a paint job reduce its top speed, then I'll start to listen.

Willing to bet that not a single swirl will make it into the film, which means it will look the part just fine. Oh, and just FYI, the movie isn't targeted at people who would rather look at a car while it's standing still rather than be in it when it's doing its thing. I think they have photo and museum exhibits for that.

I understand the point you're trying to make, but for a car photo shoot, unless the photographer just showed up on the movie set and decided to have a photo shoot, you would think they would want the car to look its best ( which would mean swirl free).
As for the targeted demographic, I don't know, I have zero to very little interest in this movie even with the GT500 in it. I would like to drive a GT500 like in the movies though

Compuware for me. Looks like you were taking pics from the Woodward side.

As far as the swirl debate, I can't comment too much. I never got close enough to the car to be able to tell but they had a very pleasing young lady attending to the car for the close up shots although I doubt she took nearly as much care as Zto5 does.

The best part was later in the afternoon when they did several high speed loops around the park that you can see from SkyyPunk's overhead photo shared above. The driver had that car drifting pretty good around the circle in and out of traffic with the state trooper in pursuit. I've heard there's some pretty good video of it out on YouTube.

I also 1000% agree on the roof stripes. They really don't look right.

It's a broad demographic; most of the people who see these movies are import tuners. I haven't seen any of the previous ones outside the first, and I doubt I'll see this one despite the inclusion of a rather uglified GT500.

We talking fast and the furious? because I'm not aware of another NFS movie. I have watched all the F&F movies, but they have been meh.

Yeah, got them mixed up with F&F. I don't expect this movie to depart much from those however.

If she truly is "pleasing", I can forgive the swirls
