Need help with Ford Part #

It seems like that the parts department at my local Ford dealership can't figure out the part number for the center console cover, the silver/grey plastic cover from the lower part of the stereo, all the way back to the storage compartment (the one with the Microsoft Sync logo attached). They came up with an answer, which I simply refuse to accept: "Ford does not make those parts yet." WHAT??? Then how is it that every Mustang has it in place? How is it, that we're almost starting the 2012 production, but "Ford does not make the parts yet"???

I understand that there are several models of the console cover, so I would need a part number for the 2011 Mustang GT, 401A package, Manual Transmission.

Ford is still owing me this part, as it had several scratches when the car was delivered. That was in September... still no part.

If anyone could help, I would greatly appreciate it.

If you get a new one be careful they are very easy to scratch as mine already has a few small scuff marks.

Have you tried searching around on the Ford Parts site?

Did you take yours out and take a look at it? It might have the part number on it already...

Here's what I came up with for you. It has the part code, but the prefix/suffix are missing. I would think a reputable dealer could find the part based on that code:

You beat me to it Overboost.

If you give them the base number (04567) they should be able to find the full part number for you. I've done it before with other parts.
