X-plan price is about $180 over invoice. We're $99 over invoice, which is a better deal than X-plan anyway.

Brian, is xplan better than invoice at some dealers if they try to charge you a lot of doc fees?

Drove a v6 premium with manual trans today at my local dealership. I will tell you that in the past I have pretty much had horrible experiences with these guys. Today I dropped by to check out the cars up close. Ran into a salesman who has a daughter whom I have trained for about 6 years. Turned out the sales manager trained with me about a dozen years or so. Both guys were very interested in improving my opinion of their Dealership. Both said and did everything right.

They will call when they have a 5.0 manual for me to drive and then I will decide what I want. They have assured me that they will give me the car at invoice. This is if I pick it off the lot or if I special order a car. I'm pretty happy as I believe on keeping business local when reasonable. We shall see as this evolves.

My only qualm was that the sync system would not read the text from my blackberry storm. A little looking around I have found other sites where people have conjectured that Verizon has disallowed this function. Does anyone here know anything about that???

I joined recently too but didn't notice anything with regard to the x-plan on their site. How do I go about getting a PIN?

just don't pay the doc fees.... here in Washington state, a doc fee can not be more than $150 by law and it is totally negotiable.
