California hates modifications to cars in general

 

Yea but this is past being reasonable. I completely understand that the police don't want us having the front windows so dark they can't see in at all, but I think 35% a very reasonable percentage. It's not that dark, but a noticeable difference from no tint.

 

At night it is dark

 

I went 5% and love it. The windshield header is just whatev but I love the look.

Some people just don't like them dark.

 

I used to do 5% on the rear before, but I'm a big fan of a uniform 15-20% all the way around. Overall, car looks really good!

 

IMO it has to be the same % all around to look good.

I like it. I had mine done today. I went with 30 on the doors and 20 on rear three. I'll get some pics soon.

 

Maybe someone should start a tinting pics thread and people can post a pic of their car along with their percentages an location so people looking to do it can get a good idea.

I just had mine tinted today also. I'm in minnesota so 50% is the limit, so that's what I went with on the 2 side windows, 35% everywhere else.

I figure they can't prove it's illegal if they can't roll the window down to test it. Right?

 

Thanks guys. I appreciate it. I think for now, I am happy with what I had put on. I can always go darker later on.

 

Finally got my tint done today man! Check out my pics in my thread. They do clear bra too, so I might have that done once my hoods fixed.

 

I think it is too light. I do not know of your laws though, so im assuming you did what you had to do.
