I think there is a big push to make competitive road racing more popular. Here in Europe it's a way of life. Driving is a great part of the culture here. There's a large importance about it. The cost of entry alone is 100 times more than the average in the U.S. and the skill of the drivers here is at a much higher level. I bought my car to use it on road courses and not drag race it.

I'm impressed with the new Z/28 as much as everyone else is and that kind of performance has a significant amount of cost involved with it. Everyone should understand that. You can't go down to the local auto parts store and pick up a set of Carbon Ceramic brakes to replace the ones you just wore out at the track. Specialty items have special price tags associated with them.

I think it's the fact that it's still called the z28 that causes the misconception.
