My Mustang 2010 convertible went from Sterling Grey to Black Matte (video)

Have just recently finished. Although there so many contraversial opinions about black matt color, please have a look at my result. As the job is finished only few days ago, it is difficult for my to deceive and get used to new look. But first thing i notice is retraction of other people look and surprice on the street. Here is a video, firstly some pictures and later on little drive moments

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O012DuthXFU

It was made by local wrapping master. Good job. Thanks Vlad!

I admit the guy does good work, but it's not something I would do to my car.

I like it, but I've always been a matte black fan. You did good by going with a wrap. Flat black paint is hard to do. Plus you can undo a wrap if you get tired of it, and your paint will look like new.

Looks great! I love Matte Black, though. I'm thinking of doing some kind of a matte stripes to mine in 6 years. Then it will be paid for & I can afford to do stuff.

Do they have a site I can look @? Thanks!!

Never heard of this wrapping, what does this entail? Must be vinyl?

OK, just looked it up. What did it cost you to have it done? I like the idea.

Love the matte black. Wish it was a paint option.

The wraping man has the site at re-styling.lt but it is total in lithuanian, unless you use google page translator. Price was arround 1000 usd for wrapping. Three people workend on the car for 16 hrs and 100 usd for preparation and paint of oem wheels.

I've always wanted to do this on one of my cars... but the maintenance to keep the vinyl decent outweighed the "cool" factor.

But it looks good!

Wow I have to say that looks AMAZING!!!

Fantastic price. Your post doesn't say where you are located and where it was done, but since the site is in Lithuanian I'll take a guess that you're in Lithuania.

Yes it is in Lithuania. I have a car about one week and job was done two days ago. Average price in Germany is about 1500 - 2000 euro. Basically job is all hand made and the price difference is only for salary difference. As this is now on fashion wave and rhere were many window tinting sloons they specialized to do wrapping. Just they use different film vynil that stretches very much so they can go round the corners and difficult parts. Applied with heating fan.

Not feeling it... looks like a car that has only primer and is waiting for paint.

I love it too!

I've seen a matte black Raptor on the web that looks hot too.

When its done right like yours is it is incredibly awesome. I'm glad it's not an option though because this way it is very rare as it should be.

I've got matte black stripes but that's about as far as I will go.

Nice job.
Gorgeous car!
