We would never pay that! My husband and I shopped around at dealerships in Green Bay. They wanted 10K over MSRP. We were like "we can drive to Chicago and buy a car with everything we DON'T want on it for cheaper!" Then they turned around and said "OK, 5K over invoice." We were like "yeah, see you later!" We ended up buy from our hometown dealer. They had a allocation, thank god! We got our Shelby for under MSRP. We are happy campers! Our Shelby is sitting in Chicago as we speak, awaiting shipment home!

I told my husband that we should "stop by" The dealership in Green Bay to "show them" our car! lol

Wow... you got a Shelby 2014, for UNDER MSRP??? If that's true, that's pretty RARE. Congrats to you and your husband. Did you guys have to twist some arms to get that? They usually sell for over msrp or at msrp.

I'm from Appleton originally, so I know how the dealers are there... their quality of service seems to grow proportionally to the quality and type of attire and personal car you bring to the dealership.

Sad.

This isn't helping my Shelby bug. :-P

I know that I'd I were to trade in my vert for a Shelby, I'd be so upside down on that loan, I'd never make it out, especially since my car is under a year old. Here's to hoping I can find a Grabber GT500 vert from this generation in a few years...

It was sad! When we stopped we drove up in our 2012 Chevy Avalanche LTZ. Don't laugh it paid for! Yeah, they WERE just watching us when we left to see what we were driving! Like we have money or something! lol We are both REALLY into cars! Thats all! We live within our budget and work hard! And yes, We got the Shelby ORDERED (how we want it) UNDER MSRP. Hopefully it doesn't get flood damage before we get it with all the rain coming through in the next few days. Bring on the rain to wash the salt off the roads!

To bad you couldn't trade up and get a Shelby. BOO! I'm thinking that these cars WILL BE going up in price because from the sounds of it they WILL NOT be able to fit the 5.8 V8 in the 2015 cars. This may the last year of the Shelby? Now THAT will drive the price of the 2013 and 2014 through the roof!

A 200 MPH car for under $60,000? Wow, talk about serious bang for the buck!

I have researched and found 2013 cars WITH 15,000 miles for 10,000 OVER MSRP still. Seriously, start shopping north!

Ditto here too. That's totally my dream, but I can't complain, by 30 I went from high school dropout to being an engineer at the world bank and my partner is a GS-15 at the US DOI, so I'm doing better than I ever expected.

My fully loaded one cost over $70k with tax. The MSRP window sticker was $67,090. Most expensive car I've ever purchased but it's the last Shelby of its kind before the new Euro models kick on, and at age 61, probably my last chance to get a dream car before I retire. I figured its my turn!!
