my color gauges

I like them but does anyone else think they are too dim? It's weird when I turn off the car and pull key out they get 5x brighter. I wish they would get that bright while the cars running

I take it you played around with the dimmer settings next to the headlight switch?

Mine are bright as heck with that switch all the way up. With my light switch in the "auto" mode, sometimes the lights do not turn off when daylight comes around, making the dash (and radio) hard to see.

That's why I don't run on auto.

I use both. When the daylight comes (and me wanna go home...), I'll switch to off.

If you got the factory fog lights, you got the feature. If you want the "auto" on a Mustang that does not have it now, all you need is the switch. All late model Mustangs are wired for it; the red sensor by the center of your windshield controls it.

Simply buy the replacement switch from Ford (or Tasca, or whomever is your favorite Ford parts dealer) and install it. There's 3 switch variations; one without the auto feature, one with, and one with auto and fog lights. The switch with the auto feature and no fog lights is $35.00

Pick your poison.

Sometimes I wish auto headlights were mandatory on all cars. Yesterday driving home in two-inch-per-hour rain from tropical storm Debby, there were numerous idiots driving without their lights on.

What an amazing innovation! Although, my 1963 Impala had a dash dimmer switch so maybe it's not all that new.
