My 2011 update.

Well I had high expectations to purchase a 2015 upon release and sell my 2011 at the end of summer. But that all changed. Had given my car the proper wash it needed the other week and it struck me that my car looks awesome and has a lot of life left in it. No need to run off and get a 2015.

So I decided that I'll be getting a VMP stage 2 supercharger kit. That is still pending. I'm waiting on some stuff from the bank which should be clearing shortly and I should be ordering within hopefully a week. Won't be able to install for a couple more weeks due to trying to clear a weekend to do it.

In the mean time I had bought a 3D carbon gt500 spoiler and put that on, no decent pics of that yet, keeps raining.

And As of today I just ordered the RTR chin spoiler with splitter from AM. Tried reaching out to RTR themselves as I live a couple miles from their facility but they never responded.

I will use this first post as an update to the install of the chin spoiler and splitter and the install of the supercharger. Can't wait!

4/29/2014 update. RTR chin spoiler and splitter install.

Install time was roughly an hour.

Start with the finished product, car wasn't washed as it rained earlier today but the sun peaked out so i gave it shot.
I think it looks awesome.

Chin Spoiler

Splitter put on - The instructions for the splitter part were terrible really. But its pretty straight forward to be honest.

This screw was a pain in the butt to get too. There is also one hiddin in the fender well where the black plastic meets the fender... Even a bigger pain to get too, take your time and you can get it.

The old fascia part was rather easy to take out, a few plastic clips that you have to depress then it just pulls apart really. The install is basically the reverse. The tabs that go in the place of where the old ones were, make sure they line up kind of a tiny struggle to get it back into place.

Update 4/9/2014

Supercharger has arrived. Still waiting on the pulley to do the install.

While that would be awesome, for only owning my car for 2 years Its a better choice to just hold off for a while. Maybe get the gt350 down the road.

What happened to you with RTR happens with other Vendors too. I know you and others ( me included ) expect to order something and get a response or order A.S.A.P. but sometimes that just does not happen, especially if a item is out of stock, it is not the Vendors fault it happens. So give RTR a chance. Make sure to post up pics when finished.

Hm not to sure I follow. All i was saying is that I reached out to RTR directly, to try to see if i could purchase it directly through them and pick it up but never heard back. I ordered it from AM instead, shipped it same day, should get it tomorrow. Sadly this entire week is scheduled to rain.

Just that some people get upset because they are not contacted right away by a Vendor or impatient because they cannot get their parts right away because it is out of stock ( not that this applies to you ) but some people take things out of context that you may be mad at RTR because they did not get back with you. What some do not understand is these matters should be taken up with the Vendors privately and not broadcast on the forums. Every Vendor has issues now and then with customers, this is nothing new. Again not that I am saying this was your intent. Make sure you post up some pics when you get that RTR Chin Splitter on and especially if you get that VMP Supercharger. Yeah the rain sucks, we also are suppose to have rain for 4 days but I look at it as a opportunity to clay bar and wax mine during this time before all the car shows that I will attend this spring and summer because I have the luxury of not having to drive my Mustang in bad weather because it is not a daily driver and I have a 2 car Garage.

Ah i get ya yea I wasn't trying to bash on RTR really. They did get back to me and of course I didn't take into account they were at an event.

I will definitely post plenty of pics. Of both installs.

IMO I do not believe a 2015 could look any better. You have a keeper.
