my 0-60 in a 3.7 auto
The 2011 Mustang V6 aotomatic (3.31) I ordered came in yesterday, yay! I took it for a ride last night, took a very long way to work this morning (ended up being slightly late, oops), then took a good 100 mile ride after work tonight. I have the Dynolicious app for my iPod Touch, it measures acceleration figures, estimated horsepower, and Gs. Seems pretty accurate or the price. On my 05 V6 Mustang (auto) it measured 209 hp, 0-60 of 6.9, and a 1/4 mile of 15.4. The 1/4 mile times match up extremely close with the timeslip I got at the dragstrip when I had Dynolicious running at the same time.
So I drove out into the country quite a ways tonight, found some deserted and fairly straight roads with a high speed limit, the further away I got, the more ideal the conditions. Started with a 6.7 0-60, disappointed. Then a 6.3, then a 6.0. Got to a really flat, straight stretch, nobody in sight, and got my best time, a 5.70. I think my 1/8th mile time was around 9.3, but I didn't stay on the gas, I wasn't shooting for 1/8th mile times. Here is a pic of the cars, and my next post will have the Dynolicious screen shots. The gas tank was almost full, they gave it to me full, and I splashed the tank a bit to keep the weight consistent for the weight that I punched into the Dynolicious. Didn't adjust tire pressure or remove the spare tire, kept everything as is.

Hey, if you were hoping for better, this is just a start, it was storming today, had to find some dry stretches of road. I know it will go lower, not sure how much, but I'll post here when I do.

Awesome. It's going to be really cool to see modded v6 mustangs hitting up drag strips and people not laughing at them like they're a joke anymore. I've had to completely change my way of thinking towards most v6's now! haha, great job!
