With that said I would like a set of scoops pre painted for the rear side quarter panels and prefer OEM. Any aftermarket preprinted ones just as good as the OEM also some pics would be good to, thanks....

no. going for used ones arent smart idea as the 3M tape would have lost its adhesiveness and paint tone might not match yours. go with the site i mentioned you'll get the exact tone of color and unused 3M backing. not to mention scratch-free compared to used ones.

Of course not, but an example of a mustang with a functional hood scoop does not make the claim any less valid. Mustangs have had fake (non functional) scoops of one kind or another since 1965.

There are several manufacturers that produce quarter panel scoops. Shop carefully, and avoid side scoops that have vinyl decals that imitate the grille (like the ones from 3d carbon).

What about these, my only concern would be all the air they will grab.

What does Ford want for the OEM side scoops? I like the ones on my GT/CS....plus I have the OEM hood scoop too....painted by the local dealer.

I could get a set primed for like $200.00 and then Im sure a body shop will want about the same to paint them so not sure if that mod is worth $400.00 ?

Neither the hood scoop or the side scoops on my 1966 GT350 were fake.

Here's a late 68 prototype functional scoop that was on my 1969 Mach1,

It's a early version before they decided to go to Shaker Hoodndesign, many people think that someone cut them in, but they are factory, I've seen them on a few 69 Mustangs, and 69 Torinos.

Here's my 69 Mach1 I had..
