This Mustang heater is insane!!!

Wow!! Does this heater put out some serious HOT!!! We had to go out (temps in teens) and cranked up the heat in the '14 GT. I had to turn the **** all the way back to the halfway point as the heat was intense out of the vents. I doubt I have ever owned a car that put this blast of heat out there. Not even my newer R/T pumps it out like this Mustang. Whoever designed this furnace must have lived in the frozen north. Thank you!!

Always Good To Hear Positive Reviews on a Members Car!

The Worst Heater I Have Ever Encountered is in my 95 Ram V-10 Dodge. It takes about 10 Miles of Driving Before Heater Does Much! They Had a TSB For It Back in The Day But The Father Inlaw Never Got it Done! It's Retired to Backyard Duty These Days So It Will Likely Never Get Fixed By Me! It's Not very Cold in This Area So Big Deal! It Would Be a Real Bummer in A Cold Climate!

I don't recall how the heat was in the '11 but I probably didn't pay attention as it rarely was driven in cold weather. I probably need to test the heater in the new one just to make sure it works while it's under warranty. Never turned it on yet lol.

Every Ford I have ever owned put out awesome heat, some just took longer than others to warm up.
One good thing about the Electronic Temp control in the Ford system it doesn't turn the fan on until it can put out heat and in the Mustang and F150 it keeps it pretty close to the 72 degree temp it is set at.

I wonder if the Mustang shares the same heater core with a much bigger vehicle like an Explorer or something?

The Weight of The 2004 Prior Mustang Heater Core is 1.75 Lbs. The 2005-2014 is 2.50 Pounds So Ford Really Upgraded The S-197's, It Does Compare To a Front Explorer Heater Core As Far as Size. But Some Explorers Have Rear Heaters as Well. I Did Not Compare Weight on the Explorer Core Because They Have Real Long Water Tubes Which Throw off That Comparison.

Toasty!

My 2013 cranks out the heat, not that I use it that much. I had an '92 Acura Integra GS that had a lava heater. I've never owned a car that had a better heater in it.
