I bought the upper but it looks funky with stock lower, so took off the lower and will paint lower brackets black and leave open for now.

Yea now that I think of it last time I looked I couldn't locate a Roush either. I'm also waiting for the lower.

The stock lower looks better than that. Also did you paint your radiator?

Aero dynamic lift in the design?

This looks great if a lower grille can be purchased but Roush won't sell the lower grille separately. However I have a concern with this design...

Look at the top part of the grille. There's a plane that's angled upwards. This would cause air to be directed downwards thus causing negative or whatever topside thus creating lift. So would a car with this grille have less downforce at high speeds this causing any negative effects in vehicle stability?

I'd like my car to stay as planted as say a stock car if and should I have a need to go say... more than 100mph? Lol not that I'd likely go that fast but just in case I need to make a run for the border and evade some fuzz.

Looks is good but I don't want to sacrifice performance for looks.

There is a pan you can get for under there, a BOSS one and a GT Premium. I ordered a Boss one from CJ Pony.

CDC hasn't given an ETA for the lower. I ended up painting my MCA lower grille black - it is the same as the GT/CS which is already black:
