Okay I got one City Tank that was 20 mpg (Alright! It was really 19.96). Every other tank has been 21.8-25.1 mpg and I drive 90% CIty. Some of its my driving style. Either on it at low rpm or off the throttle with clutch engaged to shut off injectors and some of it is the fact Ive gotten pretty good at timing lights to catch them still rolling at 20-30 mph.

That is outstanding but I would like to make a point. My city driving consists of a stoplight every couple of hundred yards at best. Stop and go. Stop and go. Stop and go. Get the point? I has a seven mile commute with 13 redlights. No way to get mpg to brag on. There are just so many variables that make it hard to compare numbers. Road numbers are different of course. The more I think about it the more I think it does not matter what gear you chose. Quarter times are doing well with all gears and mileage seems to be pretty much the same. Its all about the driver and conditions in both cases. That said. 3.55 gears still seem right for me.

I got 18 mpg on the freeway driving home from buying car. Since then it's been all about 12. Right now I'm driving around like a very old lady with a chp car behind me and still, I'm looking at 13.8. ****! Hopefully the engine will loosen up a little bit.

Did you make sure you reset your MPG estimator? If you wail on the throttle for a whole tank and dont reset it it will take a while to go back up

I've noticed that if baby it, shift under 2k RPM, and drive like I'm 85 years old then I get around 27-28 MPGs. That said, I've been averaging about 21 over the past two weeks.

Definitely! When I picked up my car I reset it and got 22.5 MPG on the 250 mile trip home (at 75-80 with 3.73 gears)...Probably with the 87 octane in the tank. Since then, it's running about 18.5 on 93 octane with general around town running....Not too bad IMO.

OK, just back from about 1700 miles of driving....

MPG (calculated) over several tanks was 28.07, 28.95, 25.10, 28.30, 28.55. That middle tank was mixed driving while at my destination. Highway speeds were 70-ish. Gears are 3.31. Terrain was mixed -- about 50% east coast mountain and 50% midwest flat land.

I'm good with these numbers.

I just did a 250 mile round trip a couple days ago. I had to go over 100 m.p.h. three or four times to pass long lines of tractor trailers. Did around 70 to 80 m.p.h. most of the time on the interstate had to go through 4 towns with pretty bad traffic. I have 1,500 miles on my Mustang and got 27.1 m.p.g. on this little trip. The cars m.p.g. display was showing 26.3 when i filled back up. I know if i would keep the speed down i could get 28-29 m.p.g. easy. My in-town m.p.g. is a steady 22-23.

My last 3 tanks have all gone over 32 mpg. That included 2 trips all interstate (75 mph average) and 1 trip all back roads to the beach (60-65 ave). Very impressed with the mpg!
