Motor Trend Comparison test of Convertible
I hope this is not a repost...anyway, I'm sure GM and Ford appreciated Motor Trend soaking the interiors of both cars.

They're both nice machines...I'm a bit weary of the ragging that the Camaro takes around here. Of course there are issues with the car but it has its merits, starting with that amazing lump under the hood.
The interior may be polarizing but the Mustang is the one that will be forgettable in a few years where the Camaro's more wild treatment will be charmingly dated and probably better appreciated.
Yep, we're all here because we liked the 2010+ Mustang better than the Camaro...but I am not surprised that they sell well. The compromises of the car are well justified to many by the sheer style that the car exudes.

Also: I liked how the 'vert (which has the mandatory 3.31 rear diff) still pulled off a 12.9 1/4-mile at over 111 mph. Car and Driver must not know how to drive; they only got 13.2 out of a coupe with 3.73 rear and matched that 13.2 with the only GT 'vert they tested.

I was sooooooo happy when I read that article. The 5.0 Mustang always won against Camaro/Challenger in all the comparisons, and since I wanted to get a convertible the 5.0 GT was the ONLY choice.
However, within a month of my purchasing it, I read about the new Camaro 'vert coming out in early 2011.
"Uh oh," I thought, "I hope I didn't make a bad choice and shoulda waited another year."
Now that I've seen a direct comparison between the '11 convertibles, I couldn't be happier with my choice! Mustang FTW!!
