Most Impressive
With the new 2015's soon hitting the show room floor.
What do you think is the most impressive thing done to the 10-14'? Could be a mod that just blows you away or could be a complete car that is just so well done that it consistently takes your breath away (try to leave your own personal car out of the talk).
I for one am impressed with the Engine itself, the ability to but a supercharger on it and get 600RWHP is, well pretty darn impressive.

I would agree on the engine. It's a work of art, so smooth, powerful. I was stunned when I saw some dyno charts that, with just a 93 octane race tune on a pretty much stock car (maybe an intake and some mufflers) could flirt with 400 whp. That's amazing to me.

Ah I see.
In that case, for me... it's my first american muscle car. So, for me, it's the visceral feel of torque. It's the sound. It's the rawness. It's the look of the car. It's the old school feel with a modern twist.
And the above accolades are when my car was STOCK!
How much more now... I just love it. Was always an import guy before. I can't believe what I was missing.

For it, it is easily the engine, it made the Mustang finally pop up on my radar rather than seeing it as inferior to other offerings. The restyle in 2013 made it pretty much mandatory that I head down to the dealership and order one. No regrets at all after two years, but I am getting the itch for something new.

With the exception of the PintoStang, Ford has created a performance oriented car that has remained iconic and immediately recognizable for 50 years. You can't mistake an S197 on the road. No so for the Camaro and Challenger which, at a distance can be initially mistaken for each other.
While in my personal opinion the 2005-2009 Mustangs were the best looking body styles from a retro-appearance standpoint, the designers still managed to keep it looking like a Mustang until the '14. The Coyote engine and suspension refinements just add icing to an already very tasty cake.
I think it's the whole package of the design and engineering that has evolved into the last hurrah of the S197 which makes it so impressive.

To me it was the return to the retro look. Always loved the '69 & '70 and was smitten when the look returned with updated hardware! Then they brought back the Boss...an order had to be placed! :-)

X1000 Engine. To have a motor that delivers so much power when you mash the pedal, yet deliver excellent fuel economy when you want is the best of both worlds. I like this engine so much that I'm considering getting a new '15 F150 STX 4x4 with the 5.0. Just have to convince the wife.

To me it's drivetrain. The Coyote is such a torque-happy motor, and combined with the 3.73 and Torsen dif it really puts all that power down to the ground really well. You can drive this thing around town all day long, take it on road trips, or go to the track and keep up with cars which are far more expensive.
Also the connection the driver has to this machine. Ford did a great job giving us the "mechanical" feel while still including some comfort features. Car communicates when it's near the limit quite well. There is very little vagueness or snappiness to the handling.
