It's getting weird, after these "everything on hold" thread people are making threads about getting their cars? something doesn't add up lol

This Tuesday will be the day... I want my car as soon as possible (summer is going strong now), I like both color, and I want the first one avail. After talking to Ford SVT, I believe the RaceRed will be here first as it already has it's certificated of Origin.

I do not understand Ford... especially after seeing my dealer got another GT500 before mine (it was their 2nd retail order)... I was the first one ordered and serialized from that dealer... non sense IMO.

Anyway ... end of rants...

Let's get the car in the stable... and enjoy it AFAP (as fast as possible!!)

I will post many pics once it gets delivered... hopefully next week (around the 25th)...

That's my man, get that red, personally, i prefer it over the Grabber. And as for me test driving it around here on the local stretch of road that's closed and makes for a perfect 1/4 mile test track, i'm ready whenever you are.

 

I saw a grabber this weekend, was pretty nice... but I agree the Red looks more... mean...

My dealer got a hold of their Ford rep and he confirmed that there are "3 or 4 issues" and there are "Hundreds on hold" and to "not expect it for another month"

I'm fine with the quality hold. It's the correct thing to do.

At least I know now not to stop by every evening to see if it was dropped off...

And if there are 3 or 4 issues, does that mean people driving around in their new 2011's have those issues as well?

 

Umm... yeah. Good question!

 

I placed my order on 4/12. Original dealer ETA of 5/9, then moved to 5/16 (where it still sits at)

I can only guess the ones already sold might be part of a TSB later if it turns out to be an actual issue(s).

Or they may be seeing potential issues out there, and they're holding up ours just in case they turn out to be problems.

They can't be serious, or worth mentioning, or we'd see a recall by now (like the new Sonota)

I won't be waiting another month for mine.
It's going on six weeks now.
Ford CS called me today and said they would have an answer for me by Friday.
Ford has a about another two weeks to get me my car or they can keep it.
