Talking More photos from LA Auto Show

I went to the show on Friday to take a look at the 2010. I was impressed. The rear end isn't as bad as pictures make it out to be: from the angle you're standing -- 6 feet high -- you don't see all the plastic. It doesn't look as "saggy diaper" as the photos seem.
Here are some of my photos, and some explanations (note: my girlfriend is the one with the fancy DSLR $2000 camera; I got stuck with the Canon Powershot, so the photos aren't perfect, but they should be okay).

Detail of front end, in case you need another:

Cool guage display they had (I haven't seen a photo of this on here):

Detail of speedo:

Interior details (and yes, the dash really is spongey. Except, after having traditional Ford dashes for so long, I don't know if I like this new style!!):

And now the taillight question.
They are rounded and beveled. No photos really capture this.
Are they LED? These might help:

This might help some photochoppers, who knows:

Hope you enjoy!

Thanks, really nice pic's, especially the tail lights, the more I see them the better I like them. I know I'm in a minority here but I Love the Rear End of this car. What do you mean by "Traditional Ford Dashes"? Vinyl Covered Foam like 94 and previous model years, or Hard plastic like the 05'-09's? Just how "Spongy" is it? Like a Nerf Ball, or just has a little give when you push into it?

Is it comparable to the steering wheel material?

No, not really like that I guess. Its still pleather-like with a soft feel.

hmmmm. I would have to say the dash is like a slightly firmer nerf ball, in my opinion. You can put a pretty big indent with your thumb; it slowly springs back in about 10 seconds.

And I'm used to the 94-04 hard (but not like the 05) vinyl dash. Boy am I glad to see that gone.

I think the car sits a lot like the '05 style (naturally), but I couldn't tell you exact comparisons because I don't own one (an 05)!

Cool, thanks Chris, that's about what I expected it to be like. I'm used to that same style Vinyl Covered Foam dash you talk about. Been around since the 60's. They tend to Crack and Split, especially down here in this Florida Sun if not properly cared for. I haven't seen many 93-04's that have cracked though. The same goes for 94-97 Thunderbirds. I don't know if it's the type of Vinyl they used or what? Hopefully the New Material will hold up just as well.
