My rule is always park far away and walk... I don't mind walking. I pride myself anyway on the fact that I don't need to obsessively circle a parking lot just to get a close space. By the time it takes for most idiots find a good space they could have been in the store already if they parked and walked from a more distant parking space.
I agree. Not having any way to easily control the tranny in a car like this is simply inexcusable today. Every Mazda with automatic (except the rebadged Fords) has the manumatic option. EVEN THE MINIVAN!!!
That Interior is nothing but WIN! The NAV screen is huge but so is the price. I'm not sure how they can get away with charging $2k for them anymore when you can get a Pioneer indash or Garmin portable for half price with the same features.
Get the new Shelby magazine with the GO Super Snake on the front, on sale now. At the bottom of page 20 is an artists rendering of the inside of the new Shelby Museum in Vegas. It's just art, but the cars are all 2010 style with hips, concave rears, and side windows that connect to the door window! BTW, where did the above pic link come from? Are there more?
It's kinda clever the way they were able to create the kickup in the rear of the door beltline by dropping the beltline lower in the rear than the front. That is why the rear quater windows never had to change shape or move despite the hop-up being added to the quarter panels. That also accounts for the new mirrors and all new interior door panels because they had to be much different to accomplish this dip in the beltline.
Now if they would only remove the tumourous growth on the rear valance and smooth out that checkmark lower edge of the taillamps it would look much better. To me the new 2010 looks much heavier with all the tumorous growth on the rear valance than my own car does with it's modest tuck under and no extended cladding.
Now I am not opposed to black masking. Black masking does a good job of visually lightening a car if it is done right. On the side of my car the black rockers does it's job because I cannot stand body colored rocker extensions which make the car look heavier and taller on the sides. Black masking also works well on the 07 VW GTI lightening the body sides sides and the bottom of the very thick rear bumper.
