Mileage of new Mustang direct from factory?

Taking delivery of my 2013 Mustang GT tomorrow, but the dealer let me drive her today. I watched the vehicle being unloaded from the transport, so I know that my dealer did not drive the GT. However, there were 41.1 miles on the odometer. Does Ford "test" drive, at random, select vehicles? Seems strange that the GT would have 41.1 miles direct from the factory. Oh, the GT was built on 3/20 and finally released for shipping on 5/14, after a LONG factory hold.

Mine showed 39.3 mils on the Quality Control sticker on the front windshield. Wasn't too excited about it. Might not be a bad thing in that any problems with your vehicle are fixed at the plant instead of the dealership which can be inconvenient.

Had 7 miles on the ordered '11 V6
then only 4 miles on the ordered '12 GT
then only 4 miles on the ordered '12 GT

Op, that's a lot of miles. I would make sure they were from ford. That would have pissed me off. Even if legit.

I would be mad if mine has more than 5 on her unless specified from the factory. I told my dealer that i am to be notified before she gets to the dealer so i can keep track of everything they do to her. If they have to take her for a ride i have to be in the car with them. I really don't want them to be joy riding in my 662hp car i mean who wouldn't want to

But, you can always walk away if your not pleased with the mileage thats on it prior to purchase.
