Mild drop without UCA?
Mild drop without UCA?
Ive had my eibach pro kit springs for a long time now and was getting ready to have them installed. Was thinking i would need an ADJ UCA for 1.5" drop in rear, but to install a UCA will cost me another $340 for labor at local shop.
Are there any major risks of going without a UCA? Will my pinion angle be off a whole lot?
Car is just a street car with minimal tracking.
Im installing the pro kit with koni oranges, gt500 strut mounts, camber bolts if needed and a bmr adj panhard bar. The labor for this alone is $340. And another $340 for UCA install (which i havent bought yet)
Any help you guys can throw in is greatly appreciated!

You need it. I have the same drop. Lowering the car changes the pinion and the stock piece cannot compensate. You will be fine at first but it will eventually cause problems. We have nice cars. Don't skimp on doing it right.
You won't need camber bolts. The drop is mild enough that the gt500 upper strut mounts are fine.
Several shops in my area said camber bolts are not a good idea. They don't call them crash bolts for nothing.
BMR makes a good panhard bar

Np. Just doing as others on this site did for me. Paying it forward.
I went with these:
http://www.bmrsuspension.com/?page=p...&productid=944
http://www.bmrsuspension.com/?page=p...&productid=964
Overall I went BMR everything. Except for the orange Koni.
I see lots of folks mix and match vendors. I wanted to be different and use the same company. I figured the vendors build and test their parts to work together so why not give it a try. So far so good. Love the drop.

If u have the time call BMR and talk to their mustang guy, Kelley. Excellent customer service. He is very helpful and will answer all your questions. I learned a lot from him and the members on here.
Good luck, glad I could help.
