MGW Shifter = Awesome
MGW Shifter = Awesome
For anyone who hasn't seen it yet...

More and more I'm starting to believe that the ability for the shifter housing to be able to swing around is causing the bad gear engagement. Can't wait till this thing is out.
What's all your guys input on this piece. Watch the two part review vids and you'll see how bad the stocker really is. I really cant believe that reverse lockout is plastic and that the previous shifter boot from the 05-09 S197s is just being reused on a newer design.

If it's anything like the one they made for the '05-'10 then it will be awesome. Did I miss the thread on here about this one? I've been wondering if they were making a new one.
We'll see if it actually makes the $375 price estimate, if it does then that is about the same as the Barton with the bracket. Be nice if that price included the shift ****, then it for sure beats the Barton.
dang it... i was gonna post this earlier but i didnt wanna feel like a tard thinking it could solve the MT82 problems. lol. i actually learned how the lockout for reverse works reading that...

Figured as much. It's been about 6,000 degrees here in Texas so I can wait a few months. I'm not working on anything in this heat!
George from MGW posted this yesterday on the S197forum...
