Dopey name, but an interesting package.

Hopefully the name only lasts a year, then they'll change it to something that makes more sense for the brand. I think Stallion or Thoroughbred package is more fitting for the brand than Mayhem.

So what was the point of this?
I thought the Performance Package was a fitting name. It's not like they actually market the package, or that special emblems are included on the car (even though they originally said it would back in '09).
I would've rather Ford kept the name and produced some OEM badges for the package.

How does the word "Mayhem" have anything to do with a ricer or sound ricer. I'm interested to know your thought process behind this

Its just the cheesy name. Like honestly does anyone here think the package needed a name? Cuz i know i didbt think so. Performance Pack, name literally says it all. Theres no need for "Mayhem" or any other nickname. I understand ford reaching out to the public (especially with thw ford gt design) but naming packages?? Too much

Yeah, super STOOPID name, I submited Club Sport myself. Then I realized, it should have been CS3.7 or some such to help dfferentiate this package from the Cali Special.
I wonder if this car will be in any Allstate commercials
