Marilyn found her younger sister! (or brother?)
Went to softball after work today... then I finally got the chance to see a 2013 in person. From what I could tell, it had a back up camera, and the interior with the grabber blue stripe down the middle and a silver/dark grey metal oem shifter ****.
Seeing it in person, the taillights are drastically different (I mean I know they are, in general, but I just mean you can really see the stark differences) esp with the 2013 ones being so dark. Wish I could have seen them lit up. Also the front hood and bumper are definitely a surprise in person. Not sure I like the vents, nor the lack of the "bulge" in the 10-12 hoods. So I guess 2013's in general, are out in full force now Good thing on this one, the dealer didn't drill the front bumper for license plates... whew.
All in all, the 2013 is a great car, and I wouldn't kick it out of my garage. But that being said, I still prefer my 12, esp in Kona... and the hood/power bulge on the 12 is something I prefer. Not sure on the tails yet. I love them both. All in all, it's personal preference, and I love the stangs all the same. I just love my Marilyn, period
Enjoy the pics.

The front wnd doesnt work on all the colors for the '13s but i think on black it juat looks right! I still much prefer the front end styling from the 10-12's but the rears on the 13's is just gorgeous. Specually the tailights

Thanks for posting the pictures, I've been wanting to do the same thing, but haven't had the opportunity to find one to park next to.
I thought I almost liked the Deep Impact more, but with these pictures I think I still like Kona better.

Kona has depth, DIB is just blue

Great photos (as usual)
Love the '10-'12 look, but love the '13s just a little more.
However, your car proves they all need lowering.......and a decent exhaust......and a GT500 rear spoiler
Also, as much as I just love a black Stang, they do look great in blue. Deep Impact Blue is stunning, too

The 13 the OP posted is black and the OP's car is a 2012 Kona Blue. Where did you get Deep Impact Blue from?

The 13s just don't appeal to me. The front end/hood are just not my style. I researched the 12s vs 13s back in December before I bought to see which I preferred based on pics.

I agree 1billion %. Kona is the MAIN reason why I got the 12. In fact, a buddy of mine was GOING to get a shelby 13, but when found out no Kona, it's off the books. Maybe a 13 Vette GS now
I agree sir. I lower all my imports, but have yet to do it to any of my muscle cars. I always go with a taller tire in the rear that makes me unable to lower it. I prefer a classic stance. My buddies cobra looks great lowered. It looks good on other peoples mustangs but it's just not for me.

Now look at my Nissan 370Z (her name is Zena btw ), the car I had before Marilyn, she was 100% stock, except for an exhaust. IMO, this car needed NO LOWERING. She had a perfect stance from factory.

Apologies for the thread hijack :-)
No, but they are similar
From another forum
"20x9 and 20x10.5 Concept One CSM-7 Matte Silver Machined Executive Edition.
For tires I am running Toyo's 295/30R20 rear and 255/35R20 up front. For the amount of time we had to get these on before the show the next set will be wider"

If i didnt have a Mustang id definitely be driving a 370! Live the way they look, sound, and feel. Its how the v6 mustangs should be aiming for and the the v8's should stance out from factory. What happened to Zeba if u dont mund me askin?

Yeah the Z was a good car. I thought I could forego the backseat, but with the kid growing up, and now I have 2, it had to go. Enter the 5.0... love the backseat. As for the Z itself, it was fun to drive, but lacked power down low, the engine wasn't smooth (in fact shrieky at high rpms) and you never wanted to take it to redline unlike the Coyote, the tranny (6mt) was terrible - grinding, rattling, just not well built, engine oil operating issues esp with summer weather and when pushing it hard.
Compared to the 5.0? The Pony blows it away. I LOVE my Stang. The Z was a 8 out of 10 for me. The 5.0 is at 13 out of 10.
