No ETA... @ best 1-2 months out pending production.

 

I'm guessing their former Magnapack round mufflers are being replaced with (round) "Competition" mufflers.

After I set-up the Camaro kits last year, I noticed their renaming of kits similar to Borla's Touring (oval) & S-Type (round).

Street (5x8x14) Mufflers should be a bit quieter than the Competition kits.

 

Thier prices are up for the GT at least. Looks like you can't get the Competition mufflers without the full cat back. As in you can't get a Competition axle back.

All I want is an Axle-Back that sounds as good as my '05's Borla S-Type kit.

The competition setup is 3" according to that video so a axle back of that wouldn't fit the oem pipes anyway.

 

Looks like I am spending some more money on a car I don't have yet.
All ready bought a GT500 spoiler now the exhaust is next.
Now I need to know how much they sell for and decide which one I want.

 

Everything including axle backs are now 3". They only have 2 axle backs so far. Muffler delete and street.

Not sure how I feel about the sound, although Magnaflow was never my favorite sounding exhaust. I want to hear the Bassanis....

From what I can tell, Shelby's GT350 utilizes Borla's ATAK exhaust system. I'm not really a big fan of its Corsa-like sound, though.

Wow, very much an old-skool sound with the ATAK. Made that 2010 Camaro sound more like a '69. I'd need to hear it in person, but I like it so far. Can't wait to hear those on the 5.0
