I would rather replace two tires at a time over 4 I guess. Say you run with camber that wears the insides of the tires or you like to do lots of tire spinning. Just replace the two tire that are wore out and move on. Of course if you run that camber for better handling and you like to do burn outs you will probably be replacing all 4 at once any way. I like the staggered setup. Get as much traction out back and something not to wide in the front.

I hear what your saying and it makes sense to me from a wear standpoint. I guess I prefer a square setup mostly because staggered does not help under steer from what I understand

When I had 265/305s, it did add some initial understeer, but it was easily mitigated with some more throttle. Now I'm running 255/275s, and we have a nice cruise up to Bodega Bay planned tomorrow, so I'll let you all know how it goes. So far though, the car seems more neutral and almost feels like a square setup (remember that the wary GT500s and the Boss 302 run 255/285s btw...)

Laserred38, please do let us know how it goes. I'm really leaning towards a staggered setup as I too usually change tires in pairs.

absolutely and I wouldn't rotate a non staggered set up either..... well not without a litle smoke coming off of them. Ha

Went very well. Really impressed with these tires. Handled the twisted like a champ. Even went WOT coming out of a sharp 2nd gear right hander, back end stepped out of course, and was very easy to modulate the slide. The car was much more eager to rotate than with the 305 wide MPSS.

Unfortunately I still have a lot of rotational vibration going on, which has nothing to do with the tires. I checked my LCA bolts, as they did back out a little when I first installed them, causing a similar noise. They wouldn't budge, so I know it's not them. Time to call my service advisor
