He had a printout when I arrived showing both our coupons.

Because mine expired we used my driver's license to prove that I lived in the same household as the wife, so I could use her coupon.

Just ordered another brochure using my work address...which is about 2 hours from where I live. My first brochure took about 5 weeks to get to me. Has anyone received their brochure in less than 2 weeks time?

The way Ford is delaying shipping out cars; maybe I can get lucky and receive another coupon before my car gets here.

And yes, I know, not all brochures comes with the coupon....here's hoping

You'll have to use your work address on all your purchase paperwork if you get that coupon. Everything has to match.

I lost out on the $750 coupon, but was able to get a $500 coupon that just went into effect.

Just wanted to say that I got the 500 + coupon that expired in June. They took the 500 off without me saying a thing and did not give me any problem over the 750 brochure. So I got xplan - 1250.

You are very lucky. My dealership (Hassett in Long Island) would not even entertain the $750 coupon anymore. When exactly did you get your car? If it was within a day or 2 of July 6th, then I understand. If not, I will be a little upset with Hassett.

Anyway for you to call your dealer and ask how and why they allowed you to use your coupon? Or did they just knock off $750 from the final price after x-plan?

Thanks

I don't think the OP's problem was that he physically LOST his coupon, but that he lost the DISCOUNT of the coupon because it had expired before he could take the delivery due to Ford's logistical foot-dragging. SO - All the comments about having the dealer look it up in the system are not really helping since that's not the issue.

I'd say give the dealer a chance to make good on the $750 in some form or another (extended warranty, actualy discount, etc), but if they give you a shrug, then I say you should definitely walk. As long as the assembly line is up and running, there will always other cars and there will always be discounts.

I ordered a brochure in my wife's name about 10 days ago and it came today...it is much smaller than the brochure I originally received a while back. Because it was so much smaller, I thought for sure no coupon...BUT, I was wrong. It came with a $750 coupon in my wife's name. So here we go again. I have till Sept 14 to use the coupon and hopefully Ford can get off their *** and ship my car (which is still sitting in New Boston, MI).

I received 3 of the ones I requested this passed week.. no rebates. I think that's 0/5. I ordered about 9 more all different models.

What part of the country do you live? Maybe they are sending them out based on market share.

After about 3 weeks of waiting I finally got a brochure with the 750 off. Don't give up if you still need one. Just keep requesting. First one didn't have the coupon, then two arrived same day (one without and one with the 750). I was so excited!

Got the call this afternoon and she's here. Even better news is that Ford, according to my sales guy, has up the rebate to $1500 effective today...Just to confirm that I heard him right, I asked him twice to repeat $1500 rebate on Mustangs and he stated $1500. So, X-Plan minus $2250 ($1500 rebate + $750 coupon)...Not bad.

It's funny how life works...Last week I'm pissed off because I lost my $750 coupon due to Ford's slow transportation woes and those same woes allows me to collect an additional $1000 off in new incentives and gives me time to receive another $750 coupon.

Go figure

Yes...Per Ford's website, it's up to a $1000...BUT, according to my sales guy, it went up another $500 for a total of $1500...keep in mind that I live in Oklahoma and rebates are based upon where you live.

SCORE! That's awesome. I was happy with my $1250. I hope it all works out for you!

I ordered my coupon and it took less than 2 weeks to arrive. The problem is it arrived 3 days AFTER i took delivery of the vehicle. According to my dealer Ford will still honor the coupon and I have to stop in with the coupon to sign a form he'll send off to Ford.

If they do honor it, will they give you CASH? If so, that would be great!! That should pay for your TT&L

According to my dealer they will send me a check....same as cash. I will most likely just put it toward the principal of my loan because that is about 2 months worth of payments.
