look what i got done =)
Well over the weekend I took a drive down to TruFiber headquarters in Corona, CA and look what i got done...
I got my TruCarbon Blackout Panel put on and my tail lights smoked!
Note: Tail lights were done by Sam @ Stage3Motorsports (he did a fantastic job) a few other guys got there tails smoked as well, maybe we will get lucky and they will post up there pic's as well
BEFORE
AFTER
Side Note, these pic's were taken right after install, so there are some smudges at the bottom from finger prints, not flaws in the product
What do you guys think of my new mods =)?
EDIT: Adding more pic's
EDIT #2: 2 pic's with lights on and a video

Why the carbon fiber panel? looks a bit outta place. As it doesn't relate to anything else.
And while some like the aggresive blackout tail light look- it's not my thing- I did a medium tint on mine and left the reverse open.
Glad you like it tho. Looks to be good craftsmanship nonetheless.

I personally wasn't fond of losing my faux gas cap, but after i saw one in person on another Kona Blue, i was started liking it more and more. I'm glad i chose this route with the Faux Gas Cap Removal.
and yeah Sam did a fantastic job with the tints. We did a group buy deal with him so he gave us a great price. He is located in Ocean side by the way, so if anyone is looking to get Tint or paint or custom Air brush work check him out. He works with Stage3Motorsports

lol un safe? how so? when the lights are on you can see them 100% thanks to the great bulbs they put in the 11's, only when the lights are off it looks this dark =P
I'll be sure to get a couple pic's with the lights on this after noon when its not raining

hey if ur happy thats all that matters! not my cup of tea though, I feel the care is too dark for the total black out and I think the blackout panel should be black instead of the carbon fiber. I was thinking of doing my tail lights when I get my Yellow blaze(T-minus 15 days but who's counting lol) but i somehow want to leave the reverse lights white! I thing that would look interesting but it could also look a hawt mess! lol

i was going to do that but at the last second took the tape off, decided i would only want the light showing if i were smoking the tail lights on a light colored car, not dark blue lol

Not my style but looks like they did a nice job. Not too far from my stomping grounds of OC.
Now just ditch the cheesy license plate frame Frameless FTW
