Hey guys I have been away from the forum for a while but I am searching for help. This has happened sporadically but now it has begun to get me nervous and annoyed. I have a 2011 GT with CAI, tune, boss intake manifold. I go to start my car and it cranks longer than normal before start up. Sometimes it just cranks and keeps cranking. When it does this i usually turn the key to the off position and try to start the car again. It usually does it about 2/3 times before a normal start up when it occurs. It has happened while the car is warm and it has happened while the car is cold. I thought misfire but I don't know if I am right. If you know what my issue is please let me know and how to fix it if you know that. My warranty is up so I would rather not go back to Ford.

I had that happen then it was fixed by a powertrain software recalibration. There's a TSB out there about it, I believe
