A little disappointed with available colors
#21
My problem has been deciding on color when ordering a Pony convertible. Without a green or a light windveil blue, I focused on Kona Blue. I think it's beautiful, but with the white stripe from the Pony package, I think the black or stone top looks wrong (I think three is one too many colors). VW/Audi/etc offer blue tops, but that's not an option on the Mustang.
I ended up ordering silver with a black top and a black stripe. It will be great, but it's hard to stop second-guessing myself.

We can't keep hoping for throwback colors either. I'd rather see new colors altogether, than a bunch of remakes of 60s-70s colors. I'd like to see them update colors, maybe with a metallic or slightly different tint, but not a direct copy.

I talked with a GM about it once... that's how Mary Kay and Police vehicles are done... Something like 100 or so... at ONE place. That is, one dealer would have to have the entire 'fleet', and the order paid for. Then they'll do it.
At least... that's what I remember.

BTW, you also can no longer order the V6 convertible with a cloth top, which makes NO sense to me.

From my Miata days, I know that the cloth is typically more expensive.
I also noticed that they cut the standard power seat from the Deluxe models too. That's okay with me...but it's still less for your dollar.

Thanks
Wish it went up to 2010, I'm curious how many Grabber Blue units sold last year.
