Let's see Deep Impact Blues with black or charcoal wheels.

I would like to see photos of deep impact blue models with black or charcoal wheels. I am contemplating getting my ford racing rims powder coated but i want to see how dark/matte rims look on similar cars first. Please share with me!

Beauties! I have grown bored with the basic machined look of mine. I want to add some aggression to the look.

Thanks Z. I am contemplating the change to add some dark side appeal and to kind of match up with carbon fiber that i'll be adding. The plan is to get the alcoa wheels for show season, and run the FRPP wheels off season. They are a pita to clean so if darker, i won't be so annoyed when i look at them. haha. if that makes any sense.

Oh I understand completely. The stock brembo rims are a pain to clean as they are. You know me, I notice all the brake dust immediately, even after just a short drive after a good cleaning. So you drive your pony all year? Even during Canada winters?

But I guess for me, cleaning rims during washing is therapy for me, albeit a weekly session Speaking of alcoas, did you see the eBay ones for sale? Maybe you were the one that pointed me to it... Hmmm

thanks 5. That gives me a really good indication since my car and wheels are very similar to yours. I really like the matte look on yours.

Me too. I don't like dark wheels on dark blue cars. Just my opinion. Silver, chrome, bronze or copper would look best to me.

After I bought my Bullitt, I tend to prefer darker looking wheels on Mustangs now. Lighter colored wheels don't seem to look right to me. I think darker wheels make the car look more menacing and also more expensive, I dunno why. Just reminds me of when you see a really nice Ferrari or Maserati, they always have darker colored wheels IMO.

I tend to agree. IN my case, i find my wheels look too ordinary. too much like 'sunday drive' , as opposed to a muscle car.
