Lets play guess that color..?
I work at a local car wash and this came through today. It's a 2010 GT Auto. Anyone ever see this purple color before? Not my cup of tea but it looked nice. Like Plum Crazy. Haha

Four theories:
1.) If you get a fleet order of a certain size together, Ford will paint the car any color you want. I'm not sure of the minimum size of a fleet for a unique color...but it might not be all that big. So that's one posisble answer.
2.) Custom paint job. The choice of wheels definitely indicates some questionable taste
3.) This is a Ford test color car? There are cases where one or two examples of a test paint color is made prior to production. For example. there are a handful of famous early Miatas in some oddball factory colors. A mint/aqua green, a raspberry colored one, etc.. My favorite is the "Sunkist" car which comes in a paint very similar to competition orange...stunning.
4.) This is actually Kona Blue under one of the low-angle lighting conditions that makes it look straight-up purple, as has been documented.
Regardless, I like it.

NO! It was not kona blue. My friend has a kona blue and I know the difference. My co-worker even asked, what's up with the purple mustang?
This thing was purple.
