LED Reverse Lights

I'm not sure why Ford did this but the reverse lights aren't LED on the 2010 Mustang. Lethal Performance is now selling a set of LED replacement lights. All you have to do is plug it in with no extra mods. Below is a link to a nice installation write up. I ordered two sets today and will put them in next week.

One word: cost. Cool mod, though

Cool? Definaltey. But your reversing lights aren't exactly the most used of lights

Just installed these. As well as the LED dome lights (which look good too!) - and am still waiting on the LED license plate lights, due to arrive next week.

Sure you don't use them as much, but when they are in use, it looks sooooo much a nicer. The pictures don't do it justice, as in person it's just that much more noticeable. Plus, what I also like is that they don't fill the rest of the light fixture... as you can see the stock light is still making the red section glow a bit , while the LED doesn't. Just a much more crisp and refined look. It's a subtle difference, but is one of the the small things to make it that much more your own.

I'm sure the LED plate lights will tie it together as well.
Super easy install- just follow the link posted in the first message by bpmurr.

I'd definitely have these on order before I picked up the car. LED light output is just sexy. I've converted most of the interior lighting in my past 2 cars.

That definitely looks better and you are right about it looking cleaner lit up. Looks like a definite must have mod for the 2010.

Where did you get the license plate lights from? I got my lights reverse lights but haven't had a chance to put them in.

I actually got them from lethal performance. The thing is tho, under the 2010 Mustang GT section they had listed, "2010 Mustang LED license plate light", so I thought, "oh, they have them as well...cool!" but then I looked closer at the descriptions and it's actually the 2005-2009 light offering. (which is tooooootally different where the 2010 is more tubular, as opposed to a diode of the 05-09.) So it was a misprint, and then I informed them of this...

So I exchanged a few emails with Jared (from LP) and he told me that slipped past them, but that they are now going to be in the process of testing fitments and such. And that he'll have it done within 4-5 days now... Which he'll then post up on the site soon after. So figure they'll be there soon.

Otherwise, I found these over at stangmods.com if you're in a "must have now" kinda mood...

I'd love a LED replacement for our fog lights!
