Compare a blinking LED to a blinking filament bulb. LED looks much cleaner. You can also achieve a bright white rather than a yellow/orange color. Case and point:

Yea- It's just a better quality exterior/interior mod which is noticeable for minimal price.
As opposed to the yellow/orange light that comes stock. It sharpens the look.

LOL that's a bit absurd...
I'd just like to replace a few bulbs to revamp the stock look.

2010MustangGT,

I took a look at the lights in question today and noticed a few things.

1. Neither the front nor rear side markers blink when using your turn signal. I thought the fronts blinked, but I was mistaken. Taking this into consideration, swapping them out with LEDs is pretty pointless.

2. If you still decide to replace them, the rear bulbs are pointed towards the front of the vehicle. Forward firing LEDs will look odd in the rear enclosures. Just by looking at the fronts I couldn't tell how the bulb is angled.

I still want to try swapping out the front turn signal bulbs with LEDs, I just hope they don't hyper-flash.

Thanks! I was actually going to get into it tomorrow... yea actually, I never really noticed the front amber's didn't blink. weird... So yea agreed that may be kinda pointless... But we'll see tho. I may do it later as it may be worth the few bucks to try it...

I too may be interested still in switching them, but yea obviously the hyperflash would call for a new flasher unit... which odds are...

Oh, and yea, there is the slightest glow in the reverse light. Honestly tho, if I didn't mash my face up to the tail light, or just remove it... you'd never know! Still not detrimental to the battery I'd think tho.

Yea I got them in yesterday, really good touch for the night scene. After taking a stock one out and installing the LED version then comparing the two- it's such a HUGE difference. And for the price of $12 including shipping, can't beat that!

It's crazy too cuz maybe what- 90-95% of cars have the stock yellow/orange look in their lights. I think I just gotta fine tune it to which brightness (just a matter of turning it) I want.

Tanks again for the info.

Yeah, I have mine at an angle as full brightness isn't necessary.
