Lava Red & Kona Blue paint shortage...

The info I have was from her and I got it earlier this week.
Unless she can get an update ?
I do know that Colors are done in batches and that I might get lucky and my car may be built earlier because of the Color shortage.
My 2nd choice is Red Candy, 3rd choice is likely Black. Definetely don't want any Blue since my last car was a `98 Navy Blue Formula that I ordered new aswell.

Just heard from Deysha that my Lava Red V6 Premium that I ordered on 3/30/11 has a Vin #, build date of 6/13 and ETA of 6/21. Hope Ford follows through.
Without Deysha, I would have know idea what was going on with my order.

wow.. whats the hold up. I ordered my Lava Red GT Premium on 4/1/11 and got delivered 5/20/11
I heard the plant was back up and running. If so are they still going with the paint change or back to the original colors? I'd really like to know if Lava's gonna be one of them rare colors now.

I have a Vin along with projected build (6/13) and delivery dates (6/16).
If all goes well I will have this bad boy for Fathers Day weekend.

Just a heads up, I'm pretty sure there's no way your car is going to be delivered 3 days after it's scheduled build date. You sure the delivery date wasn't 7/16? That seems to be a lot more reasonable.

Where's my Mustang? Ordered 4/11/11, Have Vin, Build date 5/2/11, supposed delivery to dealer 5/5/11, then 5/12/11 and 5/30/11. Grabber Blue. Heard there may be a shortage of Glass Roofs and it's sitting on dock 51. Does anyone know where/when I will really get this car.

If you're looking for information might I suggest sending a polite request via PM to FordCustomerService, and I'm sure someone would be glad to look into your situation. You will need to supply your dealer code / order number or your VIN for them to help you, too.

My Boss 302 was scheduled on 5/19 and I received my window sticker this morning. It states my color is Kona Blue so it looks like the cut off date for scheduling and not production for Kona Blue was 5/25.
