Hey..according to others.. my car feels faster
So it's not all that bad

I'll admit I'm a BIT jelous, I love the 2011...it's an AMAZING car..
.. but put it to ya this way...

...the Mustang isn't exactly going to go backwards anytime soon.
There'll always be something worth waiting for. So when I'm in the financial position to get a new car, I know what I'm looking forward to

I hope they are in that business or Ford would be OUT of business! Everyone of their vehicles should be desirable to some customer segment!!

It was all in jest, they've had me on pins and needles since April14 waiting for an opportunity to purchase their latest Mustang.

Question for "Insiders"

This is an honest inquiry to those who have "Insider" knowledge of what's going on with our cars, so please don't take it as a jab at Ford and I am completely ignorant of the car manufacturing process.

Regarding the 18 Mustangs that will never be released, what could be so wrong with a car that it's cheaper to scrap than fix it? I would assume if something were wrong with an engine, they could just drop another 5.0 into the car, or any other auto related component could be swapped as well.

Would it be safe to assume that these cars experienced mutiple problems, which lead to it being more cost effective to build a new car, than fix each issue?

Errors and defects with the body shell is a surefire way to scrap a VIN.

The floorpan being welded in crooked has been mentioned, but I don't know how much truth there is behind that...

Only cited as a REASON for scrapping in general. Not proposed as the reason for scrapping the Mustangs.

ok, so here is some good news..

i heard from both dealers today.. the owner of the dealer that closed.. and the sales manager of the new dealer.. both advised me during 2 different calls.

"the car is in transit, it should be here by thursday", if its not here on thrus, they will find out exactly where it is..

..i'm just a little skepticle about this seeing Ford CS on friday said it was at this plant.. unless it shipped yesterday..

As much as you've been jacked around, I sincerely hope it IS in transit and you DO get it this week. That would be excellent.
